COLLECTA and ACSE Foundation Establish a Long-Term Partnership
The partnership will support artist residencies, academic forums, and public cultural programmes across art, technology, design, and education.
COLLECTA has established a formal partnership with the Art and Creative Science Education Foundation, known as ACSE Foundation. Drawing on their respective experience in artistic practice, education, research, production, and international exchange, the two organizations will support transregional artistic research and develop academic and public cultural programmes.
The Art and Creative Science Education Foundation was initiated and established in Hong Kong in 2025 by Mr. Wu Junxi, who serves as its Chair. ACSE Foundation is a global, innovative, and research-oriented non-profit organization working across art, technology, design, creativity, and education.
With educational practice at the centre of its mission, the foundation promotes interdisciplinary and international collaboration in the arts and explores emerging forms of art and education. Its work also addresses the development of social aesthetic education and the sustainable growth of individual learning and creativity in the technological era.
The partnership between COLLECTA and ACSE Foundation will develop through artist residencies, academic forums, research initiatives, and public cultural projects. By connecting artists, scholars, institutions, and production resources, the collaboration seeks to provide sustained conditions for research, experimentation, production, and presentation.
In 2026, COLLECTA and ACSE Foundation jointly presented an artist residency programme in Shenzhen, supporting Italian artist Andrea Polichetti’s site-based research and artistic production. Situated within the urban environment, manufacturing conditions, and material networks of Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta, the residency enabled the artist to establish local connections and translate his research into new work.
The Shenzhen residency marks the beginning of a longer collaboration. COLLECTA and ACSE Foundation will continue to develop interdisciplinary projects and international partnerships that connect artistic practice with education, technology, and wider cultural questions.
